About the role
At Adapty, we make it easy for mobile apps to manage in-app purchases and paywalls. We power 20K+ apps, process $3B+ in subscriptions every year, and have been growing fast for the last four years. Our mission is simple: make apps rich.
We are a team of 210+ passionate, product-driven people who love solving big challenges. Backed by top investors like 500 Startups and Surface Ventures, we are building one of mobile's fastest-growing SaaS companies and aiming for number one worldwide.
Adapty and FunnelFox run 100+ events a year with a budget in the high six figures. We are moving away from sponsoring other people's conferences and building our own: closed events for large customers, community formats, regular city meetups, and our own flagship conference. You will work hand in hand with Sales and set priorities for an Event Operations team that handles execution.
What you'll do
- Build and own the event strategy for Adapty and FunnelFox, ensuring each format has a clear purpose, audience, and target payback.
- Get the event portfolio to pay back and make go/no-go calls based on numbers.
- Launch and run a flagship annual conference.
- Design new scalable formats including dinners, roundtables, side events, meetups, and online events.
- Manage event registrations, show-up rates, and target customer share through invitations, promotion, and partners.
- Run the pipeline motion with Sales, including target account lists, pre-booked meetings, and follow-up SLAs.
- Build event attribution and reporting in HubSpot and review results with Sales weekly.
- Set priorities for the Event Operations team.
What they're looking for
- 3+ years owning B2B event or field marketing with a budget and a revenue target.
- Proven knowledge of past event ROI including cost, meetings, pipeline, and closed-won data.
- Experience cutting non-performing events and scaling successful ones.
- Experience building at least one event format from scratch that grew.
- Comfortable with CRM attribution (HubSpot or Salesforce) and building reports.
- Proactive approach to chasing Sales follow-ups.
- Fluent English and willingness to travel frequently.
Nice to have
- Launched a conference from scratch.
- Experience in mobile apps, ad tech, MMP, or B2B SaaS selling to developers and founders.
- A network among app founders and growth leads.
- Experience selling sponsorships for your own events.
- Experience managing events across several regions (US, EU, Asia).

The hot takeJeff's read on Adapty
Can I get a quick amen from the back of the room for this statement? Being remote from day 1 We're happy to be a 100% remote team with the HQ in NYC. We don't care where you work, we care about results.
Can we not just implement this way of thinking across every C-suite exec across all of business? It's. So. Obvious. Thank you, Adapty, you make me happy and you make this newsletter easy to write. You keep doing you. Make sure to take a look at their memo on what work life looks like at Adapty. I particularly like this quote from the company:
"We're a remote-first company and embrace global hiring without any geographical restrictions. Our employees can work from anywhere and have the flexibility to move around the world while working with us. Our work environment is asynchronous, allowing team members to maintain a healthy work-life balance."
But also try to get me a few more Glassdoor reviews so that I can give you a peer score! I'd also love to see a list of the perks you offer employees :)
