About the role
Constructor is a U.S. based company founded in 2019 that provides a next-generation search and discovery platform for ecommerce. The proprietary engine utilizes transformers and generative LLMs to optimize revenue and conversion for global brands like Sephora and Under Armour, powering over 1 billion queries daily.
As a Technical Project Manager, you will lead customer implementations across Constructor's product suite, owning engagements from kickoff through activation. You will be responsible for the plan, timeline, and outcome, driving cross-functional contributors through a matrixed reporting structure while helping to build an automation-first operating model.
What you'll do
- Lead multiple end-to-end implementations for new customer onboardings and existing-customer product rollouts.
- Coordinate Constructor technical resources, customer resources, and partners against a single shared plan.
- Serve as the primary point of contact through activation, setting expectations and communicating progress, risks, and changes in scope.
- Identify risks and blockers early to ensure on-time, predictable delivery.
- Ensure clean handoffs from Sales into implementation and from implementation to Customer Success and Support.
- Maintain implementation plans and reporting in systems of record for portfolio-wide visibility.
- Standardize implementation processes and partner on the maturation of an automation-first operating model.
What they're looking for
- At least 3 years of technical project management or onboarding project management experience, ideally in a SaaS environment.
- Track record of owning delivery outcomes end to end through influence rather than direct authority.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple implementations in parallel.
- Customer-facing confidence to lead kickoffs and manage stakeholder expectations.
- Proven ability to prioritize effectively and maintain clarity under ambiguity.
Nice to have
- Technical fluency sufficient to direct integration specialists and translate between technical and business stakeholders.
- Exposure to ecommerce, product discovery, LLMs, catalog data feeds, and APIs.
- Experience coordinating implementations spanning internal teams, customers, and third-party partners.

The hot takeJeff's read on Constructor
Constructor's careers page is 90% employee-first in its verbiage, with a few tiny blurbs at the bottom about the company's core values. They are PITCHING prospects. Bravo. And guess what? They are going to get the best talent that works the hardest and doesn't leave the company. With a 94% employee retention rate and 4.7 stars on Glassdoor, I completely buy it. Note to companies out there still promoting themselves as company/vision-first, take note. This is how you build a strong team and generate revenue.
