About the role
GoMining is looking for an Institutional Capital Director to build and grow relationships with institutional investors globally and attract strategic capital into the GoMining ecosystem.
This is a front-office, relationship-driven role for someone who understands institutional finance and has an established network across investment banks, asset managers, private equity, family offices, and alternative investment platforms.
The role sits at the intersection of institutional sales, capital markets, investor relations, and business development, requiring someone who can build trust with sophisticated investors and drive conversations through capital commitment.
What you'll do
- Build and own GoMining's institutional capital pipeline across the US, Asia, and other key financial markets.
- Originate relationships with institutional investors, family offices, private equity, asset managers, and other professional capital allocators.
- Lead the full capital-raising cycle including prospecting, introductions, due diligence, negotiations, and closing.
- Present GoMining's business model, Bitcoin mining infrastructure, and financial opportunities to sophisticated investors.
- Work closely with leadership, finance, legal, and product teams to structure institutional propositions.
- Develop market-specific capital-raising strategies for the US and Asia.
- Represent GoMining at institutional investor meetings, conferences, and industry forums.
- Bring market intelligence back into the company regarding investor appetite and required structures.
What they're looking for
- 7+ years of experience in institutional finance, investment banking, capital markets, or capital raising.
- Proven experience working directly with institutional investors and sophisticated capital allocators.
- Strong existing network across institutional investors, family offices, funds, or private banks.
- Track record of originating and closing significant investment or financing transactions.
- Strong understanding of investment products, financial structures, and institutional due diligence.
- Executive-level communication and ability to present complex opportunities to senior professionals.
- Ability to operate independently in an entrepreneurial, fast-moving environment.
- Fluent English.
Nice to have
- Background from leading investment banks such as Goldman Sachs, J.P. Morgan, Morgan Stanley, Jefferies, BTIG, or Citi.
- Experience in Private Placements or Capital Formation.
- Experience in Private Equity or Private Credit fundraising.
