About the role
This role directly powers a critical live customer-facing safety product and involves working closely with Research & Development teams to power in-house Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence models by generating high quality training datasets. You will be an expert at risk identification and work with the Product team to run experiments that guide the direction of the Safety product suite.
What you'll do
- Adhere to established guidelines and protocols for annotation to ensure consistency and reliability of data.
- Ensure timely delivery of accurate data as per SLAs.
- Enhance annotation procedures and play a role in shaping the team's best practices.
- Exhibit flexibility in taking on new responsibilities beyond the defined job description.

- Detail oriented and organized with a growth mindset.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a 24/7/365 set up.
- Availability for day, evening, and overnight shifts and weekends while maintaining a standard five-day work week.
- Good communication skills, both oral and written.
- Ability to work on multiple projects and tools and switch context between them.
- Authorized to receive and access commodities and technologies controlled under U.S. Export Administration Regulations.
Nice to have
- Preferably a Bachelors in Computer Science, IT, Management or a related field.
- Interested in learning about the annotation landscape and application of AI/ML in the trucking industry.
