About the role
Remote is migrating customer payrolls from third party providers onto its own payroll engines.
This role executes assurance behind each migration, auditing data before it moves, processing parallel runs, and investigating variances to root cause.
It sits within Payroll Risk, Audit & Compliance rather than within delivery, so validation stays independent.
What you'll do
- Completing validation, testing, and evidence that informs the go-live decision for each country.
- Auditing data before it moves and processing parallel runs.
- Investigating variances to root cause.
- Producing evidence that informs readiness decisions.
- Reporting defects and design risks directly to Product and Engineering.
- Developing test packs and playbooks for future migrations.
What they're looking for
- Ability to work within a statutory payroll breadth across several different jurisdictions.

The hot takeJeff's read on Remote
Remote gets a RARE 5/5 on our remote emphasis scale. Everything about their careers page is THE model for how fully-remote companies should market themselves to prospects. The FIRST thing they talk about (in the freaking header) is their work-from-anywhere policy. Then they launch right into their asynchronous work style (and further reinforcement of their remote policy). With a company size of 1,000+, HOW are they still able to maintain this employee-first mentality? No companies are able to scale AND maintain this line.
