About the role
Scopic is seeking a hands-on Python engineer with cybersecurity compliance expertise to lead enterprise implementations of a SOC for AI platform. This platform serves as an enterprise solution to deploy, monitor, audit, and enforce the security and compliance of AI agents and deterministic Python workflows.
You will join a global team of over 250 professionals from more than 60 countries in a part-time, fully remote role. You will work directly with CISOs and GRC teams to turn field feedback into product improvements while building secure AI agent workflows.

- Plan, track, and manage project timelines, deliverables, and milestones
- Act as the primary point of contact between client stakeholders and internal Product & Engineering teams
- Deploy and configure the platform, mapping agent behaviors to regulatory controls and cybersecurity policies
- Integrate client data systems and APIs via MCPs while maintaining data privacy and access controls
- Design, build, and deploy custom deterministic Python workflows that run alongside AI models
- Define and track success metrics such as compliance control coverage and anomaly detection rates
- Present security outcomes and platform ROI to executive stakeholders
What they're looking for
- Advanced Python proficiency for backend workflows and secure API integrations
- Hands-on experience with LLMs, function calling, and agentic frameworks
- Understanding of Model Context Protocol (MCP) and secure AI data connections
- Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as NIST CSF, ISO 27001, SOC 2, and FedRAMP
- Experience with enterprise security concepts including RBAC/ABAC, DLP, and encryption
- Proven experience leading large enterprise software or security deployments
- Strong client-facing communication skills for technical and executive audiences
- Understanding of AI risk management guidelines like NIST AI RMF and OWASP Top 10 for LLMs
- Previous experience as a Forward Deployed Engineer or Solutions Engineer
- Excellent written and spoken English
