Terms of Service

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.

By creating an account, you represent that:

• you are at least 18 years old
• you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms
• the information you provide is accurate and complete

2. Account Registration

Access to some of our services requires creating an account and subscribing to a paid membership plan.

You agree to:

• maintain accurate account information
• keep your login credentials secure
• notify the Company of unauthorized access

Users are responsible for all activity that occurs under their account.

Accounts are for individual use only and may not be shared with other individuals, teams, or organizations.

The Company may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

3. Subscription and Billing

Some of our products are offered as a paid subscription service.

By subscribing, you agree that:

• you will be charged according to the subscription plan you select
• subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled
• subscription offerings, billing periods, and pricing may change from time to time

Payments are processed through third-party payment processors.

If payment cannot be processed, the Company may suspend or terminate access to the Service.

All prices are listed in U.S. dollars unless otherwise stated.

By purchasing a subscription, you acknowledge that your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled prior to the renewal date, and you authorize Beach Commute, LLC to charge your payment method for recurring subscription fees until your subscription is cancelled.

Beach Commute Live memberships and Expert Services are subject to the additional terms in Sections 25 and 26, which control where they differ from this Section.

4. Cancellation and Refund Policy

You may cancel any of your subscriptions at any time through either your account dashboard or by contacting hello@beachcommute.com.

When you cancel:

• your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period
• you will not be billed again after the current billing cycle ends

Refunds are not provided for unused portions of a billing period.

However, a refund for the most recent renewal charge may be requested within 7 days of the charge, at the Company’s discretion.

The 7-day refund request does not apply to Beach Commute Live memberships or Expert Services; see Sections 25.11 and 26.5.

Unless otherwise required by applicable law or expressly stated at the time of purchase, all sales of digital products, downloadable materials, templates, recordings, courses, educational content, software tools, memberships, subscriptions, and other digital goods or services are final and non-refundable.

5. Description of the Service

Some of our services provide access to curated company information, job opportunities, and related research tools designed to help users explore potential work-from-anywhere employment opportunities.

The Service may include premium content, data, tools, and features made available to subscribers, as well as live group coaching sessions, recordings, and expert services.

The Company reserves the right to modify, add, or remove features or functionality of the Service at any time.

The Service may also include educational content, downloadable materials, templates, courses, videos, software tools, artificial intelligence features, assessments, calculators, trackers, recommendations, email alerts, premium content, and other career-related resources. The Company reserves the right to modify, add, remove, suspend, discontinue, or replace any feature, functionality, content, product, or service at any time without notice.

6. Informational Purpose Only

Our products are informational research tools.

The Company does not:

• guarantee job interviews
• guarantee employment offers
• guarantee hiring outcomes

Use of the Service does not create an employment relationship between users and Beach Commute, LLC.

Users are responsible for independently verifying job details, compensation, company policies, and employment conditions directly with employers.

Any materials, resources, bonuses, templates, examples, outputs, or guidance are provided for informational and educational purposes only.

Coaching sessions, coach statements, replays, and Expert Services deliverables are likewise provided for informational and educational purposes only and do not constitute guarantees or professional advice.

While these resources may include tools such as resume templates, outreach message examples, LinkedIn guidance, interview strategies, or other career-related materials designed to support your job search, Beach Commute LLC does not guarantee any specific outcomes or results. This includes, but is not limited to, securing job interviews, receiving job offers, obtaining employment, or achieving any particular career outcome.

Individual results will vary based on many factors outside of Beach Commute LLC’s control, including but not limited to your background, experience, qualifications, effort, timing, job market conditions, and employer hiring decisions.

By using, viewing, or interacting with any Beach Commute product, service, resource, or any associated materials, you acknowledge and agree that Beach Commute LLC makes no guarantees, representations, or warranties regarding the results you may achieve.

6A. Educational Content, Templates, Tools, AI Features, and Career Resources

Beach Commute LLC may provide educational content, downloadable materials, templates, guides, courses, videos, software tools, artificial intelligence features, assessments, calculators, trackers, recommendations, email alerts, career resources, and other products or services (collectively, “Resources”).

All Resources are provided for informational and educational purposes only.

Any examples, templates, scripts, resumes, cover letters, networking messages, interview answers, salary negotiation strategies, LinkedIn recommendations, career recommendations, employer contact information, application tracking tools, AI-generated suggestions, assessments, or other materials are intended solely as general educational resources.

Users acknowledge that hiring decisions are made exclusively by employers and that Beach Commute LLC has no control over employer decisions, recruiting processes, job market conditions, compensation decisions, interview outcomes, application outcomes, or employment opportunities.

Beach Commute LLC does not guarantee that use of any Resource will improve a user’s likelihood of obtaining interviews, receiving job offers, securing employment, increasing compensation, obtaining remote work arrangements, advancing professionally, or achieving any specific outcome.

Users understand that guidance, recommendations, templates, examples, and AI-generated outputs may not be appropriate for every individual, employer, industry, role, geographic location, or circumstance. In some situations, use of such materials may have no impact or negative impact on outcomes or may not align with an employer’s preferences, expectations, or hiring practices.

Users are solely responsible for reviewing, modifying, verifying, and exercising independent judgment regarding any information, recommendations, templates, AI-generated outputs, communications, resumes, applications, profiles, or materials before using, submitting, publishing, sharing, or relying upon them.

Users remain solely responsible for all resumes, cover letters, applications, outreach messages, networking communications, interview responses, salary negotiations, LinkedIn profiles, personal websites, portfolios, and any other materials submitted to employers or third parties.

Beach Commute LLC shall not be responsible for any consequences resulting from a user’s decision to follow, modify, ignore, implement, or rely upon any Resource, recommendation, suggestion, template, strategy, or educational content.

Artificial intelligence features may generate inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, misleading, or inappropriate outputs. Users are responsible for independently verifying all AI-generated information before relying upon it.

Use of the Service and Resources does not create any coaching relationship, consulting relationship, recruiting relationship, staffing relationship, employment agency relationship, fiduciary relationship, legal relationship, financial advisory relationship, tax advisory relationship, immigration advisory relationship, or other professional relationship between the user and Beach Commute LLC.

The Service does not provide legal, financial, tax, immigration, employment, recruiting, staffing, career-placement, or professional advice. Users should consult qualified professionals regarding their specific circumstances.

Users assume full responsibility for all career, employment, relocation, compensation, networking, interviewing, application, and professional decisions made based on information provided through the Service or Resources.

Users voluntarily assume all risks associated with job searches, employment applications, networking activities, interviews, salary negotiations, relocation decisions, employment acceptance decisions, compensation discussions, and career-related decisions.

7. Job Listings and Company Information

Job opportunities and company information may be curated from publicly available sources or third-party providers.

The Company uses both automated systems and manual review processes to curate and organize information.

However, the Company does not guarantee that:

• job listings are accurate
• salary estimates are correct
• job opportunities remain available
• employers will respond to applicants

Employers and third-party sources are solely responsible for the accuracy and legality of job postings.

Inclusion of companies or job opportunities within the Service does not constitute an endorsement by Beach Commute, LLC.

Any scores or ratings and company evaluations represent informational opinions based on available data and internal methodology.

Beach Commute, LLC does not guarantee the legitimacy, safety, reliability, or business practices of any employer listed within the Service.

Users should exercise caution and perform their own due diligence before interacting with employers or providing personal information.

Users should never provide sensitive personal or financial information to employers unless they have independently verified the legitimacy of the employer.

Remote Work Policy Disclaimer:

Beach Commute, LLC curates companies and job opportunities that, based on available information and research conducted by the Company, appear to support remote or location-independent work arrangements. However, remote work policies are determined solely by each employer and may change at any time without notice.

While the Beach Commute newsletter and Beach Commute Atlas are designed to identify companies believed to offer flexible or work-from-anywhere opportunities, Beach Commute, LLC does not guarantee that every company or role listed on the platform will permit employees to work from any location worldwide. In some cases, remote work policies may vary by role, team, employment classification, or geographic region, and certain employers may allow remote work only within specific countries, jurisdictions, or operational regions.

Beach Commute, LLC makes good-faith efforts to research and curate companies that support location-independent work, but users are responsible for confirming remote work eligibility, geographic limitations, employment requirements, and other work conditions directly with the employer during the hiring process.

Use of Beach Commute Atlas or any information shared by Beach Commute LLC does not guarantee that any particular role or employer will permit an employee to work from any specific location. Listings and company information are provided for informational purposes only and should not be interpreted as guarantees of employment conditions or employer policies.

8. Third-Party Content and Links

The Service may contain links to third-party websites.

The Company is not responsible for:

• employer websites
• hiring practices
• third-party services

Accessing third-party websites is done at your own risk.

9. Acceptable Use

Users agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and for personal job search use.

Users may not:

• scrape, crawl, or harvest platform data
• use bots, automation, or scripts
• systematically copy or extract job listings
• compile platform data into external databases
• redistribute Service data
• build competing services
• reverse engineer the platform
• attempt unauthorized system access
• interfere with platform operations

Users may not attempt to bypass security features or disrupt the functioning of the Service.

Violation may result in account termination.

10. Artificial Intelligence and Dataset Restrictions

Users may not use the Service or its content to:

• train artificial intelligence systems
• train machine learning models
• create datasets
• develop automated databases

without written permission from the Company.

11. Competitor Monitoring Restriction

The Service may not be accessed for the purpose of monitoring the platform, analyzing functionality, or developing competing products or services.

12. Intellectual Property

All content and materials within Beach Commute Atlas are owned by Beach Commute, LLC.

This includes:

• platform design
• AtlasScore ratings and scoring methodology
• curated company database
• job listings organization
• proprietary platform tools
• session recordings, replays, transcripts, coaching materials, templates, and resources (subject to members' ownership of their own submitted materials under Section 25.7)

The selection, organization, scoring methodology, and presentation of companies and job opportunities constitute proprietary intellectual property.

Users may not copy, reproduce, replicate, reverse engineer, or create derivative systems based on the AtlasScore rating system or related evaluation models.

13. Service Availability

The Service is provided “as-is” and “as-available.”

The Company does not guarantee uninterrupted service.

14. User Responsibility for Decisions

Users are solely responsible for decisions made based on information provided through the Service.

Beach Commute, LLC shall not be responsible for financial, professional, relocation, or career decisions made based on Service content.

14A. User Responsibility for Employment and Career Decisions

Users are solely responsible for evaluating and determining whether any recommendation, strategy, template, communication, tool, resource, employer, opportunity, or course of action is appropriate for their individual circumstances.

Beach Commute LLC does not control employer hiring decisions, compensation decisions, promotion decisions, employment terms, employment conditions, remote work policies, recruiting processes, interview processes, or employment outcomes.

Users acknowledge that employers may disagree with, disregard, or react negatively to recommendations, templates, strategies, communications, resumes, applications, or other materials provided through the Service or Resources.

Use of any Resource may improve, worsen, or have no effect on a user’s employment prospects, interview opportunities, compensation outcomes, or professional opportunities. Beach Commute LLC makes no representations regarding the effectiveness of any Resource for any particular user or circumstance.

15. Communications

By creating an account, users consent to receive service-related communications including billing notices and updates.

Live members also consent to receive session reminders, recap emails, and queue notifications as part of the service, and can adjust notification preferences in the member area.

16. Termination

The Company may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or misuse the Service, including breach of the recording, replay, or conduct rules in Section 25.

17. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Beach Commute, LLC shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Service.

Without limiting the foregoing, Beach Commute LLC shall not be liable for lost employment opportunities, missed interviews, rejected applications, compensation outcomes, employer decisions, relocation expenses, lost wages, business losses, professional setbacks, emotional distress, reputational harm, immigration consequences, tax consequences, remote work eligibility determinations, or any other damages arising from or related to a user’s reliance on the Service, Resources, recommendations, educational materials, templates, software tools, assessments, career guidance, or AI-generated outputs.

Beach Commute, LLC shall likewise not be liable for losses arising from coaching advice, session content, replays, or Expert Services deliverables. The limitations in this Section, including any cap on liability, apply equally to Beach Commute Live and Expert Services.

18. Indemnification

Users agree to indemnify and hold harmless Beach Commute, LLC from claims arising from misuse of the Service. This indemnification obligation includes claims arising from materials submitted by users to employers, third parties, or public platforms, as well as claims arising from reliance on information, recommendations, templates, communications, AI-generated outputs, or other Resources provided through the Service.

19. Changes to Terms

The Company may update these Terms at any time.

Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of revised Terms.

20. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of Wyoming.

Disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration, and users waive the right to participate in class-action lawsuits.

21. Force Majeure

The Company shall not be liable for service interruptions caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control.

22. Entire Agreement

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between users and Beach Commute, LLC regarding the Service.

23. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.

25. Beach Commute Drop-In Coaching (Beach Commute Live)

25.1 What it is. Beach Commute Drop-In Coaching, also called Beach Commute Live (together, "Live"), is a membership that provides access to live, group, drop-in working sessions led by career coaches, session recordings, a question queue, member resources, and the Atlas features included with membership. Live is a group program. It is not one-to-one coaching, employment placement, recruiting, or a staffing service.

25.2 Sessions and schedule. Sessions are currently offered three times per week at scheduled times published in the member area. We will make reasonable efforts to keep the published schedule, but we may change session days, times, formats, coaches, or frequency, and may cancel or reschedule individual sessions (including for holidays, coach availability, or technical problems) without refund or credit. A cancelled session may be replaced by a recording, an additional session, or nothing, at our discretion. Membership does not guarantee a minimum number of sessions in any billing period.

25.3 Attendance, capacity, and hot seats. Sessions have limited capacity. Seats may require reservation and are first come, first served. Reserving a seat and not attending may limit your ability to reserve future seats. Submitting a question or materials does not guarantee that they will be addressed in a given session or at all. "Hot seat" and live review opportunities are allocated at the coaches' discretion. Sessions are conducted through third-party video platforms such as Zoom; your use of those platforms is subject to their terms.

25.4 Coaches. Coaches are independent professionals engaged by Beach Commute, LLC. Coaches provide general career guidance based on their experience. They are not your employer, agent, attorney, financial advisor, therapist, or immigration advisor, and nothing said in a session constitutes professional advice of those kinds. Coaches may change at any time. You agree not to solicit or engage any coach for services outside Live while you are a member and for 12 months after, except through services Beach Commute offers.

25.5 No employment outcomes. Live is educational and informational. We do not guarantee interviews, offers, employment, compensation, or any particular result. Hiring decisions are made by employers, not by us. All decisions about your career, applications, and finances are yours alone, as described in Sections 6 and 14.

25.6 Recording and replays. Sessions are recorded, including audio, video, chat, screen shares, and any materials reviewed. Recordings are made available to members as replays inside the member area and may be retained indefinitely. By attending a session, or by submitting a question or materials for a session, you consent to being recorded and to your voice, likeness, name or display name, questions, and submitted materials appearing in replays available to other members and to our coaches and staff. If you do not want to appear, keep your camera and microphone off, use a display name of your choosing, and do not submit materials. You may ask us to remove a specific recording segment that identifies you by emailing hello@beachcommute.com; we will make reasonable efforts to honor the request where practical, but we cannot recall copies that members may already have viewed.

25.7 Materials you submit. You keep ownership of resumes, profiles, job listings, and other materials you submit. You grant Beach Commute, LLC a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to store, display, reproduce, and discuss those materials for the purpose of running sessions, producing replays, answering your questions, and improving the program, including after your membership ends to the extent they appear in existing recordings. Do not submit materials that contain other people's personal information, confidential information of a current or former employer, or content you do not have the right to share.

25.8 Replays and content are for members only. Replays, recordings, resources, templates, and session materials are our intellectual property or licensed to us, as described in Section 12. They are for your personal use as a member. You may not record, download (except where we provide a download), copy, share, publish, or redistribute any session, replay, or material, in whole or part, or share your login or the session link or passcode with anyone. Doing so is grounds for immediate termination without refund under Section 16.

25.9 Member conduct. Sessions include other job seekers sharing real situations. You agree to treat coaches and other members with respect; not to harass, discriminate, record, or solicit other members or coaches; not to promote products or services; and to follow coach instructions during sessions. We may remove you from a session, or terminate your membership, for conduct we consider disruptive, with no refund.

25.10 Billing, founding pricing, and changes. Live is billed in advance as a recurring subscription (monthly or every three months) through our third-party payment processor, as described in Section 3. Founding-member pricing, where offered, is available only to members who join during the founding period and remains in effect only for as long as the membership stays continuously active. If a founding membership lapses, is cancelled, or is terminated, re-joining is at the then-current price. We may change the price of Live for new members, and for existing members with at least 30 days' notice before the change takes effect at your next renewal. If you join before the first session of your batch, your first billing period begins on the date of that first session rather than the date of payment, and your first renewal falls one billing period after that date.

25.11 Cancellation; no refunds. You may cancel Live at any time through your account or the payment portal. Cancellation stops future renewals; your access continues until the end of the billing period already paid for, and then ends. Notwithstanding Section 4, Live fees are non-refundable once charged, including for unused time, missed sessions, cancelled or rescheduled sessions, dissatisfaction with content, or changes to coaches or schedule. Amounts charged in error will be corrected.

25.12 Atlas access. Live includes access to the Atlas features described in the member area for the duration of your membership. If you held a separate Atlas subscription when you joined Live, that subscription is cancelled and replaced by Live billing when your Live membership starts, and it does not resume automatically when Live ends. Atlas access ends when Live ends unless you purchase an Atlas subscription separately.

25.13 Eligibility and market scope. Live is for members aged 18 or older, as described in Section 1. Our job board, examples, and coaching are built around the United States job market. Members located elsewhere are welcome, but we make no representation that the content applies to other markets, and location is not grounds for a refund.

25.14 Termination. We may suspend or terminate your Live membership under Section 16, including for breach of Sections 25.8 or 25.9. Termination for breach does not entitle you to a refund. Sections 25.6, 25.7, 25.8, and the surviving provisions of these Terms continue after your membership ends.

26. Expert Services (Resume Writing, LinkedIn Profile Writing, 1:1 Coaching)

26.1 Scope. We may offer one-time, paid services performed by a human professional, including resume writing, LinkedIn profile writing, and scheduled one-to-one coaching sessions ("Expert Services"). The scope, deliverables, number of revisions, and turnaround for each service are those described on the purchase page at the time of purchase.

26.2 Your part. Deliverables depend on the information you provide. You are responsible for the accuracy and truthfulness of your employment history, dates, titles, and accomplishments, and for reviewing every deliverable before using it. We do not invent credentials, and you agree not to ask us to.

26.3 Delivery and revisions. Turnaround times are estimates and begin when we have received all requested information. Each service includes the revision rounds stated on its purchase page; further changes may be charged. A deliverable is considered accepted 14 days after delivery if no revision is requested.

26.4 Scheduled sessions. One-to-one sessions are booked through our scheduling tool. You may reschedule up to 24 hours before the start time. Missed sessions and cancellations inside that window are forfeited. Sessions are not recorded unless both parties agree.

26.5 Refunds. Because work begins promptly, Expert Services are non-refundable once work has started or a session has occurred, notwithstanding Section 4. A purchase cancelled in writing before work begins will be refunded in full.

26.6 No outcomes. Sections 6, 14, 25.4, and 25.5 apply to Expert Services. A professionally written resume or profile does not guarantee interviews or offers.
