I've been working remote as a digital nomad from Puerto Escondido for the past three months this winter. Having been doing this for the past 6+ years I've had a lot of "pinch me, is this real?" moments. The last weekend I spent in a tiny laguna called Chacahua was one of those moments.
Just another weekend trip starting on a random Friday night...but this would be my once-a-year (or once-in-a-lifetime) memory had I been working in an office and using vacation time to get there.
But it was just a taxi and boat ride away, after a normal workweek.
Despite RTO, and old-school managers desperately holding onto their power with their last breaths, fully-remote work is going to be the future. Opportunities to live this kind of life exist with very successful companies who trust their employees.
We send out daily remote job alerts and have a database of 300+ companies to help people for free.
