About the role
Zyte is a globally distributed team of over 250 Zytans working from 28 countries on a mission to enable customers to extract web data to innovate and grow. Founded in 2010, Zyte provides powerful, easy-to-use tools to collect, format, and deliver web data at scale for over 3,000 companies and 1 million developers.
The Integration Squad helps developers adopt Zyte by focusing on coding agents and agent-based workflows. The team makes Zyte API and Scrapy Cloud accessible from tools like Claude Code, Cursor, LangChain, and cloud platforms like AWS and Google Cloud.
As an Integrations Engineer, you will build and publish MCP-based setups, a Zyte command-line tool, framework packages, and data-delivery connectors. You will also write the documentation that enables developers and their agents to use these tools independently.
What you'll do
- Build and publish integrations that bring Zyte into coding-agent environments like Claude Code, Codex, and Cursor.
- Design, build and release the Zyte CLI as a shared base for integrations to both PyPI and npm.
- Build and maintain packages for developer frameworks and agent SDKs such as LangChain and LlamaIndex.
- Build recurring data delivery into customers’ cloud and data platforms including AWS, Google Cloud, and Snowflake.
- Assess and prototype integrations for app and automation platforms like Dify, Zapier, and Replit.
- Provide engineering estimates of feasibility, effort, and dependencies for candidate integrations.
- Implement tracking to trace signups and usage back to specific integrations.
- Write clear setup guides, examples, and documentation for both humans and coding agents.
- Manage submissions to partner directories and marketplaces, including responding to review feedback.
- Maintain live integrations by fixing issues and managing releases and versioning.
- Collaborate with Product, Marketing, and Developer Relations teams on launches and community support.
What they're looking for
- Strong Python skills and solid TypeScript/Node.js experience.
- Experience building SDKs, client libraries, CLIs, plugins or third-party integrations.
- Hands-on use of coding agents and AI tooling like Claude Code or Cursor.
- Familiarity with the Model Context Protocol (MCP) or similar tool-calling interfaces.
- Experience publishing and maintaining packages on PyPI and npm.
- Knowledge of REST APIs, authentication, and secure credential management.
- Outcome-focused mindset with the ability to use data to drive improvements.
- Clear writing skills in English for documentation and examples.
- Comfortable with ambiguity and early-stage scoping.
Nice to have
- Experience in a distributed, remote-first team.
- Experience with LangChain, LlamaIndex or agent SDKs.
- Experience with AWS/GCP data services or Snowflake.
- Familiarity with web scraping, Scrapy, or browser automation.
- Open-source maintenance or Developer Relations experience.
