46 hidden remote jobs hiring this week
Hello my friends! I've tracked down 46 hidden remote jobs this week for you to check out this week. We have a total of 1,353 hidden work-from-anywhere jobs in the Beach Commute Atlas currently hiring.
You can increase your odds of hearing back by matching yourself with the job that best fits your skills and experience. Mine is a 93% match today.
But remember, spray-and-pray applying is statistically a low-odds bet. The highest odds bets are:
Apply on careers pages only: ++ odds
Find smaller companies: + odds
Make connections: +++ odds
Apply in the first 48 hours: ++++ odds
Customize your CV to the role: +++ odds
Send customized follow-ups: +++ odds
Get a referral: +++++ odds
And with that, here's what you missed over the past week 👇
1. Why you're not hearing back on job applications 👻
Every bit of this can be traced back to the decisions you make during your job search, and at every decision point, you need to make the highest odds decision. Nobody read this last week, and I put A LOT of work into it, but it's gold (and that's not just my ego). 👇
Just read it. I promise it will help. Maybe the format sucked. I don't know. There's gold in there.
2. Indeed CEO says AI is making hiring process worse 🤖
Well no sh*t. But there is something interesting in this article...Employers complain that they aren't finding any qualified candidates, likely because they are getting AI resumes sent through AI applicant tracking systems. Who would have figured that wouldn't work? They call it an "AI Doom Loop."
He recommends something I COMPLETELY agree with: “Think of the job you want and apply to less-known companies who do that type of work—you’ll find a lot more success.”
3. The entry-level job market is cooked 🔥
Why aren't you seeing entry-level roles anymore? Less than 5% of remote roles in the Beach Commute Atlas are entry level! The consensus across the board is that employers are looking for experienced applicants, making entry-level employees under-qualified, and experienced applicants over-qualified. And AI is just confusing things further.
Good god, what a mess.
So what do you do with all this information?
Again, increase your odds with every decision point.
➡️ Finding legit companies you want to work with
➡️ Making connections at that company
➡️ Setting job alert notifications so that you apply early.
➡️ Applying with a customized CV within 24-48 hours
➡️ Following up
It's a lot, I know. But if you do this and apply to 5 jobs this week instead of 100, you'll be in better shape.
And now, here's the remote jobs of the week 👇

Sumsub
I'm digging them so hard🔎 What they do Live from the Atlas
Sumsub is an identity verification, KYC/AML, transaction monitoring, and fraud-prevention platform that helps businesses verify users and companies while staying compliant.
🌶️ Hot take
I even wrote a Remote GOAT crush piece for them. There is SO much to like about this company, starting with the very first line on their careers page: "Trust over control. We hire smart people and let them shine. No micromanaging, no games—just trust, ownership, and great work."
This is EVERYTHING that you look for in a company. They are all about output over attendance, they don't micromanage, they have strong Glassdoor reviews, and a MOSTLY clear remote work policy.
📊 BeachScore Live
Sumsub gets a solid 81% on the Beach Commute Atlas. With a slightly clearer remote work policy we would be golden.
Top 30% of all work-from-anywhere companies
🏝️ Remote work policy
"Remote-first, trust-based culture. Work from the place that works best for you. No mandatory office days, no attendance trackers. In some locations, we provide offices or coworking spaces, but the choice is yours. "Remote-first and future-ready. Work where you're happiest and most productive—your schedule, your choice, your rules." "Hubs in 8 cities, plus coworking spaces worldwide. Visit often (or never), or drop by when you need a change of scene."

MuckRack
One of our oldest GOATS 🐐🔎 What they do Live from the Atlas
Alright, listen up! Muck Rack is your go-to platform for Public Relations Management (PRM). It's like your PR superhero, helping organizations connect with the media, tackle crisis risks, and show off how PR impacts business results.
🌶️ Hot take
Love 'em, but keep in mind that some roles only hire for citizens of certain locations. They are fully remote, BUT, they are specific to citizens of the noted locations. Don't come at me if you don't read it.
Muck Rack will always hold a top spot in our database. They are the model for what we look for in a solid company: Good benefits, geo-neutral pay, remote-forever company policy, and great employee reviews. And take a peek at the benefit package (for US employees - international employees are likely negotiated or contract):

I would PREFER a "no meeting any day" policy, but one step at a time, Jeff. We will get there and it will be glorious.
✔︎ Geo-neutral pay alert! "We believe in equitable pay regardless of where you live."
📊 BeachScore Live
Muck Rack gets a 93% on the Anywhere Atlas, putting them in the top 3% of fully-remote companies.

Work from anywhere. Company policy: “We’re committed to a permanent, fully remote environment, core to the way we do business. We enjoy the flexibility to work where we’re most productive and stay connected no matter where we’re located.” Note: MuckRack is not necessarily a hire-from-anywhere company. Their statement: "While we are a fully distributed team, we do have limitations on where we can hire and maintain a list of acceptable working locations based on job function."
“We’re a fully distributed team and have pledged to remain that way forever. We enjoy the flexibility to work where we’re most productive and stay connected no matter where we’re located.”In their words · from the Atlas

Alpaca
🔎 What they do Live from the Atlas
At Alpaca, it's all about supporting hundreds of businesses worldwide with our developer-friendly API brokerage platform. You can trade stocks and crypto, access real-time market data, and enjoy top-notch brokerage infrastructure using our modern APIs.
🌶️ Hot take
I like their clear views on the value of remote work, check out this quote from their careers page:
"Our teams are not just global, we're also 100% remote and have team members in almost every time zone and continent (except Antarctica). By joining Alpaca you'll be part of a multicultural, international organization."
Update September 23, 2026: We're still sitting at 3.6 on GD. It's been a bit of a whirlwind on there this year. I'll keep an eye on it for you, homies.
I'm a LITTLE wary of this statement that gives me a bit of a "hustle culture" vibe:
"We're keen on that last 10% of effort and believe that the details do matter. If this sounds like you, then you're in the right place."
I get it from a company perspective...don't love it from a prospect marketing perspective.

Alpaca gets a 67% on the Beach Commute Atlas, putting them in the top 50% of fully-remote companies.

Newish reader find🔎 What they do Live from the Atlas
Raya is basically a super exclusive, membership-only dating and networking app where creatives, influencers, and semi-famous (or trying-to-be-famous) people connect—but you have to get approved or invited to even get in.
🌶️ Hot take
Not. Much. Info. It's a bare bones careers page. But, if you jump into their listings you'll find that they regularly hire fully-remote roles, along with an awesome perk we've never heard about:
"$1,000 a year to go somewhere in the world, $1k to go somewhere in the world that you’ve never been."
That's pretty cool, right? I've also never seen this before:

Inquire about whether or not they will let you travel while working! They really need to publish more info on their careers page!
I've always believed (and actually KNOW) that companies founded with a fully-remote structure function leaps and bounds better than those forced into it from covid. Cobbleweb speaks to this point:
Remote-first has been baked into our culture from the very beginning, since we were founded as a distributed company in 2012. Our mindset has always been focussed on creating the best possible environment for remote work. It starts with a structured approach to the software development process. You can look forward to close collaboration on product discovery, well-planned sprints and transparent feedback sessions.
See? Told ya. They have a great careers page, but I would love to see more clarity around their perks and benefits package, and some more clarity on whether or not they care if their remote employees travel while working.
I'm also a sucker for paid team retreats...or maybe I just like free sh*t.

🌶️ Hot take
This was a reader suggestion. Thanks, dude.
With an opening careers page line of "Ready to have a fulfilling job, working from anywhere in the world, and making an impact on humanity?", you have my attention!
But then, we get to the careers page.
The careers page states some boilerplate company values that are fairly copy/paste. It's not that this is a bad thing, but companies don't realize that these "value statements" truly add nothing to the understanding of what it's like to work at the company. A core value of: "Reliable, shows up on time and committed to the deeper vision of the company and doing our part to show up and serve" feels like an important thing for a company to say, but it's already understood, says nothing original or authentic, and wastes valuable real estate that could be used to explain how awesome your company is to work for.
Same goes for the "benefit of "Experience working in a fast-paced environment that is constantly evolving and coming up with new ideas on how to best serve our audience and students." That's not a benefit.
Careers pages are excellent opportunities to be genuine about what it's like to work at the company for employees. When they change their perspective from "me" to "you", everything changes.
To be clear, they have done nothing wrong, have an outstanding remote work policy, and may be an outstanding place to work, but a reader would never know because they only talk about themselves.

Alyssa Nobriga gets a 61% on the Beach Commute Atlas.

Alert! Update Sep 23, 2026: Uh oh. Their reviews crashed to a new low of 2.6 on Glassdoor this spring. They've bounced back since to a 2.9, I don't love it. Don't put ALL your stock in GD, but definitely keep it in mind. If they don't rebound to at least a by EOY, we'll have to drop them. They have 4 months to tighten it up.
Here's the pros: I like their careers page, they have a strong remote work policy, they hire from anywhere, and I like their benefits package.
