New Remote Company Crush Thursday - Oscilar

I just looked through 5 work-from-anywhere job boards and 20 companies...

And found ZERO jobs that let you work from anywhere.

Zero. I am not sh*tting you.

I can't even imagine your frustration on a daily basis.

You want to get paid for your skills, right?

You want to be able to do that from where you want, right?

I hear ya. So let's make it easy for you. Here's a new company we're adding to the ​Beach Commute Atlas​ named Oscilar.

But, there's something you need to keep an eye on...

While they will let employees work fully remote, they do appear to hire citizens of specific countries. This is usually tied to time zone requirements, or interest in paying local wages for the work.

When you look through their job board, make sure to select "remote" when looking for jobs:

🤔 Company culture is a head scratcher

You really should look for companies who use most of their careers page talking about what YOUR experience will be like working for them.

They should be selling YOU, not talking about themselves.

Yet, companies feel SO compelled to spew their values, that all look exactly the same, and tell you nothing:

They're not "bad", they just don't say anything.

What you REALLY want to see is how they view managing people. Do they trust their employees? Do they value results over attendance? Stuff like that.

It's a missed opportunity, but, they do have solid Glassdoor reviews, including the one below that seems very genuine.

Sure, companies can write whatever they want on these pages...but it's a strong indicator, especially when paired with good Glassdoor reviews.

If you aren't a US citizen, you should expect health insurance plans to vary.

👀 What should you watch out for?

Make sure to watch out for roles that are hiring for specific regions (Brazil, Canada, etc.) as there may be some restrictions on travel.
