51 hidden remote jobs hiring this week
Big news...I created a bad*ss way to navigate all of the fully-remote companies I've reviewed and scored over the past 5 years. So check it out, I've got a table that you can sort by score, industry, company size, perks & bennies, and if they're currently hiring.
Check out all the remote companies →

Sort by perks and bennies, score (obviously), industry, size, and if they're hiring
But here's the most important part...each company has its own page and section where you can find out what the application experience looks like:

This is ALL THE STUFF we're asking about how companies treat job seekers...
- Are they using AI?
- Do they ghost people?
- Do they ask for free work?
- How many rounds of interviews are there?
- Do people hear back on their applications?
🟢 If you leave a review (which will take 30 seconds), you'll get three free days of all of the tools in the Beach Commute Atlas. Full access to everything for simply sharing your application experience.
(I'm really going on the honor system here, so pleaaaaaaase don't cheat me.)
But most importantly, we'll all finally have transparency about how well companies treat job seekers. Let's all help each other.
Now, here's the Remote Weekly Top 3 that you missed over the past week 👇
The Top 3 you missed this week
What one thing would you mandate about job listings?
If you had the power to mandate one thing about the jobs companies post, what would it be? I was shocked to find more people didn't want guaranteed responses.

I was also pretty shocked at how much people hate AI! Well, maybe not that shocked.
Uno reverse card pulled on hiring manager
I get dozens of job application stories every day, and some of them are pretty bad. I found this one on a thread last week where the hiring manager completely crashed out when they got rejected:

This absolutely slays me. Keep DM'ing me your stories. I love it when the turns are tabled.
Tons of remote work data is out
I found an awesome article with a bunch of new interesting remote work data. There's legitimately a TON of data on everything you can think of about remote work...Productivity, happiness, industries impacted, etc.

If you get a free moment, and need some ammunition on why remote work is awesome, read the article.
With that, let's get into the remote jobs of the week!

TagVenue
New company alert!🔎 What they do Live from the Atlas
TagVenue is a fast-growing online marketplace for venue hire, offering over 11,000 unique event spaces around the world. From churches to gardens, they make booking any event space a breeze.
🌶️ Hot take
I'm CONSTANTLY shouting about the concept of empowerment in an employer-employee relationship. It is beyond contestation that empowered employees are more dedicated, harder working, and empowered employees. Here's what Tagvenue says about empowerment:
"We give people a lot of freedom and share information transparently. We believe that taking ownership not only allows us to hold ourselves accountable for the outcomes, but it also empowers people to become better."
Note that same roles hire exclusively in Eastern Europe - keep an eye out because every role is different, and the compensation will be as well. Don't @me, I told you.
📊 BeachScore Live
TagVenue gets a 76% on the Beach Commute Atlas, putting them in the top 30% of all remote companies.
Top 45% of all work-from-anywhere companies
🏝️ Remote work policy
Some roles are WFA (keep your eye out). Company policy: "100% remote, offering you the flexibility to work from anywhere. We're looking for candidates who can align their workday with the time zones where Tagvenue is present: US, APAC, and UK."
“We give people a lot of freedom and share information transparently.”In their words · from the Atlas

Kit
a Remote GOAT 🐐 no-doubter🔎 What they do Live from the Atlas
Kit is an email marketing platform built for creators — newsletters, automations, and landing pages all in one place, so you can actually run your business instead of stitching together five different tools.
🌶️ Hot take
I love, love, love Kit. We had been using the for years at Beach Commute, but didn't even realize that they were also an awesome WFA company. Have you EVER heard of this perk that PAYS you for taking time off?!
"Paid paid vacation: An after-tax bonus of $1,000 for taking five consecutive days of vacation where you’re fully unplugged from work"
Also, this is something everyone should consider when applying for a job: You do NOT need to meet 100% of a companies job requirements in a job listing.
"Research tells us that applicants who are female or non-binary, as well as applicants who are people of color, are less likely to apply for roles they do not feel 100% qualified for. If you think you meet more than 50% of our requirements but fewer than 100% of them, please apply. We’re imperfect communicators, so think of our job postings as the starting point for discussion rather than proof that you shouldn’t apply."
Here's some stuff I really like:
✅ Strong Peer Reviews: 5.0 Glassdoor score (23 reviews). While it is just an indicator, it's a pretty strong one.
⏰ Flexible hours: Offers flexible hours and schedules.
🏝️ Vacation bonus: Never heard of this one! "Paid vacation bonus. $1,000 bonus when taking 5+ consecutive days off with three-month advance planning."
✈️ Sabbatical: After five years with Kit, you get a four-week paid sabbatical.
💵 Transparent salaries: Still, something we shouldn't have to celebrate, but here it is!
🔌 Tech stipend: "$4,000 equipment budget upon joining and $3,000 every two years (US core team only)."
🏥 Medical: Comprehensive insurance. Health, dental, and vision.

🏝️ Remote work policy
Company policy: “We are 100% independent, 100% remote and are growing rapidly. We're 100% remote with team members across the globe. Your working hours align with your local time zone, but team meetings follow U.S. time zones. Remote-friendly & flexible work policies. Work from anywhere in the world." Oyster
A permanent member of the Remote GOAT list 🐐🔎 What they do Live from the Atlas
Oyster their mission is to create a more equal world by making it possible for companies everywhere to hire people anywhere. They believe it should be easy for any company to hire any person, no matter where they are located in the world.
🌶️ Hot take
When I say I'm looking for perfect clarity from a company on their remote policy, Oyster sets the standard. They allow you to work from anywhere (including a beach), but make it clear if certain roles require specific timezones in order to align with the company. The are under no delusions that employees have lives outside of work and need to thrive there AS WELL as in front of the laptop to do well in life.

I want to enshrine these two cards in careers page hall of fame
Further, they give employees 40 days of PTO per year, which I actually PREFER to unlimited PTO. Oyster is a no-doubter for me.

📊 BeachScore Live
It's a good one! One of our best, I might add.

Work from anywhere. BUT, but some roles require specific time zones. This may eliminate some of you. Explore freely, but read the listings carefully and don't @me.
“Oyster is a borderless, HQ-less company. As long as your work gets done on time, your team has the support they need, and you're authorized to work where you live, the world is truly your Oyster.”In their words · from the Atlas

Toptal
🔎 What they do Live from the Atlas
Toptal is basically a go-to place for the creme de la creme in business, design, and technology - they're the best of the best. They're all about helping companies beef up their teams whenever they need to.
🌶️ Hot take
Update October 14th, 2026: You know I've been keeping an eye on their Glassdoor scores every month. It's been a bit of a wild ride over the past 12 months, but they've settled in at 3.8, which is perfectly acceptable in our book.
Toptal has one of my favorite (and clear) remote work policies:

I would love to see a little more information about the perks and benefits Toptal offers its employees.
Note: They do NOT appear to be a Hire From Anywhere (HFA) company. You likely need to be eligible to apply for certain positions.
📊 BeachScore Live
Toptal gets a 63% on the Beach Commute Atlas putting it in the top 60% of work-from-anywhere companies.
🏝️ Remote work policy
“Work wherever, on your terms. Being a fully-remote workforce means that all you need is wifi and a laptop. You can work from home, your favorite cafe, or even a charming villa halfway around the world.”In their words · from the Atlas

Smartcat
🔎 What they do Live from the Atlas
Smartcat is a really cool translation management platform that helps businesses get their materials translated accurately and efficiently into different languages worldwide. They connect companies all over with a network of professional translators. They also use cutting-edge AI and cloud technology so their remote team of language experts can seamlessly streamline the entire translation process - delivering razor-sharp translations at lightning speed and without breaking the bank.
🌶️ Hot take
Any company with a tagline "Work from anywhere on earth" automatically gets a special spot in my heart.

I also am a FIRM believer that "9-5 workdays" are insanely arbitrary hours with very little relevance to productivity. People are productive at different times, and definitely not for 9 hours in a row. Smartcat gets that:

They do make some solid statements like "At Chainlink Labs, you own your journey. You'll shape your career trajectory while collaborating with the brightest minds in the industry. By tackling complex challenges, you become part of a meritocratic, high-growth environment that values and rewards your commitment."
That said, their careers page is very Chainlink-focused and what prospective employees can provide Chainlink, rather than employee-focused and what Chainlink can provide prospective employees. I'd love to see a bit more about how they feel about empowering employees.
I also don't know what "temporary working abroad" means as a perk. If Chainlink could clarify, I would appreciate it. To me this sounds like they only let you work as a digital nomad part-time, which doesn't make sense for a WFA company. I'd love to hear more from the company.
📊 BeachScore Live
Chainlink Labs gets a 65% on the Atlas, putting them in the top 50% of all fully-remote companies.

🏝️ Remote work policy
Work from anywhere. Note that they seem to have a limited timeframe in which you can work as a digital nomad. Company statement: "100% remote means 100% ownership of your success. Our 100% remote working cadence is designed to empower our team members to work from anywhere in the world while maintaining strong connections and collaboration. 💻 Note for job seekers
I am not a recruiter nor am not affiliated with any of the companies listed above. I currently cannot help you get hired with one of these specific companies for a role listed, or give you a recommendation. Note: "Hire from anywhere" is not the same as "Work from anywhere." Some companies are not able to hire employees from anywhere, but this does not mean they are not a "work from anywhere" company.
