You know what? I've had enough of the doom-and-gloom about "remote work being dead" and "everyone getting pulled back into the office."
According to WSJ, the number of paid WFH days is down 1% from two years ago.
Sure, RTO talks and "the value of in-person collaboration" values are all over the news...but it's over-indexed, and not backed up with data.
What the data is ACTUALLY showing is an increase in hybrid flexibility. And sometimes, a lower salary for work-from-anywhere freedom.
Would you take less money to work from anywhere? How much less?
🤔 We're also seeing MORE jobs, not fewer
We're finding dozens of, fully-remote jobs in the Beach Commute Atlas daily. (This is where I source all the newsletter jobs from). I mean, we found 30 in just the last 24 hours...
We're even finding new fully-remote companies every week.
So yeah, companies ARE brining people back into the office. But it's mostly crusty, old companies who were forced into remote work from the pandemic.
And mostly by companies run by...how do I say this..."old school" managers who think meetings and suits ar the best thing since sliced bread 🍞
So don't give into the doom and gloom!

Update for 6/17/26: They've added some details to their careers page! They still have "work from anywhere roles", and a remote work policy: "Our company offers a wide range of unique international opportunities, fostering professional and personal growth across three continents and 10+ countries."
- Many roles are work from anywhere. Not all, but many. Don't @ me if you find roles on their careers page that aren't WFA, I warned ya.
- They have a 4.6 Glassdoor review score (updated June 17th). Again, not something you should put all your stock into, but still solid.
- Transparent, published hiring process so that you're not floundering through two months of several rounds of interviews.
I'm not seeing much published regarding the actual benefits they offer, so if Growe is reading this, please shoot me a note with details.

They have a very nondescript careers page with some boilerplate value statements, but, I love their remote work statement embedded in job listings:

You can't hate that. I would love some more info though.

Can we not just implement this way of thinking across every C-suite exec across all of business? It's. So. Obvious. Thank you, Adapty, you make me happy and you make this newsletter easy to write. You keep doing you. Make sure to take a look at their memo on what work life looks like at Adapty. I particularly like this quote from the company:

Our employees can work from anywhere and have the flexibility to move around the world while working with us. Our work environment is asynchronous, allowing team members to maintain a healthy work-life balance."

Beyond has fully-remote, hybrid, and in-office jobs. So when you go to their job listings make sure to select the drop-down for "remote" only...unless you actually like going into an office, that is. They have a mostly solid perks and benefits plan, but I don't love seeing PTO accrual under 20 days for employees. Three weeks of PTO a year is the bare bare minimum.
Keep your eyes peeled for the actual fully remote roles.

I do have some questions about their remote work policy, which doesn't explicitly say you can work from anywhere. There are certain roles that require time zone overlap, which usually implies your location doesn't matter, but I would love to see some more clarity. Here's a few perks.
🔌 Tech stipend: "Internet reimbursement. Working from home shouldn’t mean paying extra to stay connected. We’ll help with that."
🏋🏻 Health & Wellness: "Reimbursed fitness classes, therapy, or anything that helps you feel your best."
📚 Learning Stipend: "Learning & Development stipend to grow your skills"
🏥 Health Coverage: "100% paid coverage of medical, dental, and vision insurance for employees"
